DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North

Location is convenient for access onto the motorway network, the room that we had was of a good size, and was clean. Facilities inside the room are what you expect, good sized tv, tea/coffee. Check in was efficient, and the breakfast choice was really good, in fact the range of food was endless.

The evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was a great hit with the pancake machine which the grandchildren loved. The adults enjoyed the wide range on offer. Sadly the melon wasnt ripe but otherwise very happy.

Lovely little pool for the kids. Was sceptical after reading reviews of tired outdated rooms, but we had a family room, which was lovely. Huge adult bed and single bed for one child and travel cot supplied. We did have to wait an hour for our room to be ready, but this hour was given back the next morning for late check out which was appreciated. Good supplies in the room, coffee could be a bit better but was fine. Clean facilities in the pool area and lovely bar and reception area. We went on Sunday to Monday which was lovely and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Were given welcome cookies which was a nice extra. Would def stay there again.

Travelled with husband & children 9 and 5 years old . I was abit nervous after seeing some previous reviews however can honestly say we had a brilliant stay . The swimming facilities were great for us and really good opening times with no limits to children . Breakfast was beautiful & plenty of choice . Good location for what we was looking to do in Bristol . Would definitely stay again . Staff were really helpful & polite , a young lady working in the health spa on Sunday was extremely lovely & nice thank you .

Emilia Dasilva on reception was very helpful, i am a brain injury survivor, and she looked after us as if we were the most important people on the planet, even though i could see she was very busy, as were all the staff
